At Expand North Star 2024, I led the technology journey behind Du Telecom’s AI Wonderland, high-tech activations designed to reimagine how SMEs and startups see Du as a technology enabler.
AI-Powered Engagement Zones
The exhibit unfolded across five zones, each powered by Conversational and Generative AI:
- A holographic AI guide acting like a business advisor.
- An AI Shark Tank judge evaluating wild startup ideas.
- AI vs Human, a mixed-reality challenge built natively for Apple Vision Pro.
- An AI escape room where business problems were solved in VR.
- A cybersecurity arcade, transforming complex topics into playful learning.
My Role
My role as Technology Manager was to take this vision from concept to execution — aligning designers, engineers, and software developers, choosing the right tools, and ensuring every experience felt both futuristic and seamless. The biggest challenge was adapting AI across so many mediums, but that’s where the real innovation happened..
This project pushed boundaries: it was among the first in the region to use Apple Vision Pro live in an exhibition, and it showed how AI can move beyond buzzwords to create memorable, human-centered experiences.
